Born on February 19, 1977, in Arezzo, Italy, Vittorio Grigolo is an Italian opera tenor who has been garnering international fame for his versatile talent and remarkable dedication. He began his career as a soloist at the Sistine Chapel Choir at the tender age of nine. From then on there was no looking back. Vittorio went on to perform at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma with the legendary Luciano Pavarotti and earned the nickname 'Il Pavarottino'. After performing at several prestigious theatres in the world, he released his debut album In the Hands of Love (2006) for which he received the “European Border Breakers award”. His album West Side Story (2007) earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Show Album in 2008. Vittorio’s noteworthy albums include Incognito (2007), The Italian Tenor (2010), Arrivederci (2011), Ave Maria (2013) and The Romantic Hero (2014). He also dabbled in sports and participated in Formula racing for a while.
