Vixen Bio

Vixen is a glam metal band formed in Saint Paul, Minnesota, in 1980. Its founding members are Janet Gardner (vocals/guitar), Share Pedersen (bass/backing vocals) and Roxy Petrucci (drums/backing vocals). In 1984, the band composed six songs for the movie “Hardbodies”, directed by Mark Griffiths and starring Grant Cramer and Teal Roberts. In 1987, they scored their first Top Ten song on the Billboard, with “Edge Of A Broken Heart”. Their first album was released in 1988, and reached #41 on the Billboard 200, while their second album “Rev It Up” was released in 1990, and reached #52 on the Billboard 200. They have toured with The Scorpions, Bad Company, Ozzy Osbourne and in 1989 they played at the Milton Keynes Festival with Bon Jovi, among other great artists. They have also opened tours for Deep Purple and Kiss. The band has sold over a million albums, and they had four songs in Billboard’s Top 100.
