Volker Bruch Bio
Volker Brush was born in 1980 and is a German actor. Having studied performing arts in the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Austria he is best known worldwide for his lead role in the World War II miniseries Generation War where he plays Wilhelm Winter.
Before his time in this groundbreaking role he worked in films such as The Reader, Female Agents, The Red Baron and the celebrated film Young Goethe in Love, a German historical drama. With a classic and timeless look he has starred in many historical films. Bruch has also acted in films such as Nanga Parbat, Westwind, Tour de Force, Treasure guides and most recently Babylon Berlin, another German period drama television show taking place during the Weimar Republic and was praised for its overall depiction of the event.
