Vontae Davis Bio
Vontae Ottis Davis, born on May 27th, 1988 in Washington DC, is a former American football cornerback who played for several teams like the Miami Dolphins, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Buffalo Bills, all of them in the NFL. In July 2009, the Miami Dolphins signed Davis to a five-year contract. Davis ended the 2010 season with 54 combined tackles and 12 pass deflections. In 2012, the Miami Dolphins traded Davis to the Indianapolis Colts. Pro Football Focus has ranked Davis 103rd among all cornerbacks in 2017, scoring an overall grade of 45.2. In February 2018, Davis signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, but he retired from the NFL in the middle of the Buffalo Bills’ second game during the 2018 season.
