Tavoris Javon Hollins (professionally known as Vory) is an American rapper and singer who was born on August 17, 1997. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas. At 16 he met and began collaborating with Bryson Tiller, a singer, and fellow Louisville native. He also signed to Louisville-based record label, FPR Music Group.
Vory first gained national acclaim in 2015 after featuring in Don’t, Bryson Tiller’s record track. He also released his mixtape Overdose in 2016 which was hosted by Adrian Swish and DJ Radio. The mixtape featured contributions from Lil Bibby, Zaytoven, AD, Blu, Nick E Beats, Ayo N Keyz. In the next few years, he recorded and released solo and collab tracks with some artists including Cassow, Blu, and AD. In 2017 he released Try, Do That Shit, and Hold of Me, a trio of hit singles.
Vory won a Grammy for The Carters' Everything Is Love album. He also released solo projects including the EP Lucky Me in 2018 and the single You Got It in 2019.
