WAAX Bio
Waax is an Australian punk rock band formed in 2012 in Brisbane, Australia. The band consists of James Gatling, Ewan Birtwell, Tom Bloomfield, Tom Griffin, MarieDeVita. After releasing their debut single Wisdom Teeth in 2014, they had a chance to perform at a BIGSOUND festival that allowed them to perform in front of the national audience. Under the impression of the big stage, Wax released two EP's, Holy Sick in 2015 and Wild & Weak in 2017. Throughout the years, they had an opportunity to perform at the festivals like Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Good Things, and Unify Gathering. The peak of their musical career represents the debut album they released in 2019 named Big Grief. Following the album, Waax released two more single records in 2020 Fired up and Fu Live/Pool Party. They are still active and recognizable for the latest hit single, The Most Hated Girl, released in 2021.
