Tony Wade Hayes is an American country music singer-songwriter. Born on April 20, 1969, in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, United States, Hayes is a vocal powerhouse who rose to fame with his gold-certified debut album Old Enough to Know Better released in 1994. Four tracks on his debut album climbed to Top 10 on Hot Country Songs with the title song scoring number 1 position. Since then, Hayes has released six more albums with numerous accolades under his belt. His albums include On a Good Night (1996), When the Wrong One Loves You Right (1998), Highways & Heartaches (2000), Place to Turn Around (2009), Go Live Your Life (2015) and Old Country Song (2017). He also collaborated with Mark McClurg to form a duo called McHayes in 2003 which disbanded the following year and later joined Randy Owen’s road band in 2008 to release his album Place to Turn Around.
