Ward Thomas Bio
Ward Thomas is a musical group that combines the forces of twin sisters Lizzy and Catherine Ward Thomas. Born in Hampshire, UK, on 28th March 1994 the duo achieved great success within the British modern-country musical genre. Their great success as country music singers earned them the title - Britain’s first country stars.
They’ve earned the right to that title when their second album topped the U.K. album charts. The album is titled Cartwheels and was released by Sony music in 2016. Before this, they released their first album titled From where We Stand in 2014. It sold 25,000 copies and peaked on the U.K. album charts at number 41.
The musical duo started moving away from traditional country music, and adopted a more modern-country sound like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, with the release of their third album in 2019, titled Restless Minds.
