Welshly Arms Bio
Welshly Arms is an American rock band based in Cleveland, Ohio, US. The band was formed in 2013 and is composed of Sam Getz, Jimmy Weaver, Mikey Gould, Brett Lindemann, Bri Bryant and Jon Bryant. Their debut EP is titled “Welcome” and was released in 2013. In 2015, they released an album titled “Welshly Arms”. The name of the band is a reference to a Saturday Night Live sketch. Among the many musical influences of the band, they cite Jimi Hendrix, The Temptations, Otis Redding, among many others. Their music has been featured in trailers for some movies, including “The D Train”, starring Jack Black, and “The Hateful Eight”, directed by Quentin Tarantino. Their song “Legendary” has earned gold certifications in Germany and Switzerland, got over 47 million streams on Spotify and peaked at No. 15 in alternatives charts.
