Wesley Cook Bentley, best known as Wes Bentley, is an American actor and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, United States, on September 4, 1978. Wes began his acting career in 1995 when he appeared in the short film Serendipity Lane, but he became famous in 1999 when he was cast as Ricky Fitts in the drama film American Beauty. He has since been a regular on the TV series Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Yellowstone, and American Horror Story. Wesley’s filmography includes the blockbusters Mission Impossible Fallout, Interstellar, American Beauty, and Ghost Rider, but he is best known for starring in the action-adventure film The Hunger Games alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Stanley Tucci, and Elizabeth Banks. Wes won an NBR Award for Breakthrough Performance – Male, an OFTA Film Award for Best Breakthrough Performance: Male, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Theatrical Motion Picture.
