Whitney Cummings Bio

Comedian and actress Whitney Cummings, born 4th September, 1982 in Georgetown USA, created the hit series 2 Broke Girls, and is best known for her comedic prowess. Whitney graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, studied acting at the Studio Theatre in Washington, and interned for WRC-TV. Cummings is a powerhouse creator, writer, actress and executive producer, often dipping her toe into many roles during projects. Whipping out her acting side, Whitney has appeared in EMR, What About Brian, Tell Me You Love, Made of Honour, Turbo Dates, House M.D., The Tony Rock Project, The Wedding Ringer, Workaholics and Undateable, amongst other projects. Cummings is the creator and star of the show Whitney, and has had her own shows and specials including Love You, Mean It With Whitney Cummings, Whitney Cummings: Money Shot, Whitney Cummings’ Bleep Show, and more. It’s not surprising that Whitney has done the rounds on comedy and talk shows, often appearing on or writing for various shows.
