Whitney Woerz is a singer and songwriter born on 22nd October 2000, in New York City, United States. She started out by writing a poem to a friend who had suicidal thoughts. She wrote a song called “Ghost Story” and sent it to her friend with the hope it would comfort her. From there, she started developing a keen interest in writing music. She sent the song to producer Glenn Rosenstein who started working with her as her producer and manager.
In 2015, Woerz signed with Sony Music Label’s RED banner. That same year, she released her debut album, titled “Live from Muscle Shoals: The Fame Sessions”. She released her debut EP, titled “Behind the Smile” in 2016. She has also released a wide range of singles, including “Ghost Story (Radio Remix)” in 2017, “Idea of Her (SMLE Remix)" in 2018, “Little Bit More” in 2019, “CARE” in 2019, “Retrograde” in 2020, “Christmas Time is Here” in 2020, and “Weirdoes” in 2020.
