Actor Wil Wheaton, born Richard William Wheaton III on July 29th 1972 in Burbank, California, landed his breakout role in the classic movie, Stand by Me. Wheaton starred in a string of projects before landing one of his most memorable roles as Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation. He reprised the role in Star Trek: Nemesis. Wheaton flexed his acting muscles, appearing in an array of projects over his career, including Flubber, Neverland, Python, The Guild, Leverage, A Town Called Eureka, Powers, and Supergirl. Wheaton also played the fictionalized version of himself in The Big Bang Theory.
