Winona Oak Bio

Winona Oak is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Her real name is Johanna Ewana Ekmark, she was born on October 8, 1994, in Sollerön, Sweden. In 2017 he connected with Australian electronic master What So Not. She continued to co-write her next two singles "Better" and "Stuck In Orbit" and over time she established herself as a featured writer and artist on her 2018 single "Beautiful." At the end of 2018. He signed as an artist for Neon Gold / Atlantic Records and was published by Warner-Chappell, with his highest writing and feature credit on The Chainsmokers single "Hope". The song "He Doesn't Love Me" marks the start of Winona Oak's contribution to music under her own name. In February 2018, Oak collaborated with What So Not for the single "Beautiful," which won the Best Independent / Electronic / Club Dance award at the AIR Independent Music Awards in July 2019. On December 10, 2018, Oak released a music video for her version of Haim's song "Don't Save Me" through Neon Gold and Atlantic.
