Wolfgang Gartner Bio
Wolfgang Gartner is the stage name for the American DJ and music producer Joseph Thomas Youngman. Before 2010 he released most of his music under his own label Kindergarten but in 2010 signed with the label Ultra Records and in 2011 signed with the Ministry of Sound in the UK in 2011. Youngman created the stage name in 1999 and was a successful deep house DJ. In 2007 he released his debut EP titled Shapes and followed it up with the EP’s Hot for Teacher in 2008, Candy in 2008, Casual Encounters of the 3rd Kind in 2012, More Ways in 2016, and Medicine in 2018. He released his first studio album in 2011 with the labels Ultra, Sony Music, and RED, titled Weekend in America. He released his second studio album in 2016 under his own label Kindergarten titled 10 Ways to Steal Home Plate. Eight of his songs have reached the number one position on the Beatport Top 10 Chart and his music has been featured in a number of video games, television shows and movies like DJ Hero, Stoked, Arrow, Grey’s Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, and others.
