Xavier Mortimer is a French magician who was born on June 20 1980 in Briançon, Hautes-Alpes, France. He was born Xavier Millescamps and grew up in Southwestern France. Xavier studied at the Music and Dance Conservatory of La Rochelle and moved on to the Desmond Jones Acting School in London and then Jacques Lecoq Acting School in Paris.
Xavier composes the music he uses in his own shows. He is both the creator of and performer in visual shows that he presents internationally. He is the first Cirque du Soleil artist ever to open his own show in Las Vegas. Xavier uses a blend of art, magic, dance and music to wow his audience. He is the first Cirque du Soleil artist to open his own show in Las Vegas.
He has appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, America's Got Talent, Masters of Illusion, Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde, and The Next Great Magician on ITV. Xavier lives in Las Vegas and performs his resident show at Bally's Las Vegas. Xavier has received several international prizes for Magic and achieved public recognition in France in 2006 with his show L'Ombre Orchestre » (The Shadow Orchestra). It was created in France (Avignon) and subsequently performed in Paris and worldwide more than 1000 times.
