Xavier Woods is an accomplished American professional football player who currently plays as a safety in the National Football League. He was born in Monroe, Louisiana, United States, on July 26, 1995.
Xavier spent his formative years playing for West Monroe High School, where he was a standout player. He went on to play for Louisiana Tech University, where he excelled and gained national recognition. In 2017, he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round of the NFL Draft, making his professional debut that same year. He played for the Cowboys for three seasons before signing with the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, and then moving to the Carolina Panthers in 2021. Throughout his professional career, Xavier has established himself as a reliable and skilled safety, earning respect from coaches, teammates, and fans.
Throughout his time with the Carolina Panthers, Xavier played alongside D. J. Chark, Adam Thielen, Miles Sanders, and Matt Corral.
