Yandel Bio
Llandel Veguilla Malave is a Puerto Rican reggaeton singer and producer, born on 14 January 1977, in Cayey, Puerto Rico. This famous singer, who was a barber before, is known as Yandel. He started his music career in 1998 and teamed up with a schoolmate, Wisin, a theater student. They released their first album, Reyes del Nuevo Milenio in 2000. Yandel’s genre is Latin. A further 20 albums were released between 2001 and 2018, of which the album, Los Campeones del Pueblo, peaked on the number two spot on the Top Latin Albums chart.
Yandel started working on his individual career as well and received Latin Grammys and other awards. Two of the three individual albums he released, hit number one on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums. Dangerous and De Lider a Leyenda. He has collaborated with J Lo and Enrique Iglesias. Yandel’s latest album Quien Contra Mi, was released in 2020 where he invited 28 artists to collaborate.
