Yannis Pappas is a comedian born on 24th August 1976 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He started his career as a comedian in 2000. However, in 2002, he had to stop performing after sustaining an injury in a robbery incident. In 2004, he returned to comedy and started performing full-time in 2008. He has appeared in a number of television shows, including “Best Week Ever” and “How To Be a Grown Up.” He also appeared in the late-night talk show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
He also started the production company Ditch Films with his friend Jesse Scaturro. In June 2013, he started co-hosting the television show “The Bracket” alongside Chris Distefano. His 2016 comedy album “Let Me Be Yannis” won the Album of the Year by SiriusXM Comedy. In February 2018, he started co-hosting the podcast “History Hyenas.” The podcast closed in March 2021.
