Yeltsin Ignacio Tejeda Valverde, widely recognized as Yeltsin Tejeda, is a distinguished Costa Rican professional soccer player who excels as a defensive midfielder in North America's premier soccer leagues. He was born in Limón, Costa Rica, on March 17, 1992.
Tejeda honed his soccer skills during his formative years within the youth system of Saprissa, one of the nation's top football clubs. In 2011, he made his transition to professional football by joining Saprissa's senior squad, marking the commencement of his illustrious career. Tejeda's journey in the world of soccer led him to Evian and Lausanne-Sport in European leagues, but he ultimately returned to his homeland to represent Herediano.
