Yes is an English progressive rock band formed in London, England in 1968. The band started with the members Job Anderson, Chris Squire, Peter Banks, Tony Kaye, and Bill Bruford. Throughout the history of the band the members have changed a number of times with 19 musicians being full time members at different points. The current band members are Steve Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Billy Sherwood, and Jon Davison. The band has worked with the labels Atlantic, Atco, Arista, Victory, Sanctuary, Eagle and Frontier and have been an active band from 1968-1981 and 1983 to the present. They released their first album in 1969 titled Yes and have since released 21 studio albums, including The Yes Album, Close to the Edge, Going for the One, Drama, Union, Open Your Eyes, The Ladder among others. They have also released 14 live albums, 35 compilation albums, and 22 video albums and have toured all over the world. The band has been very successful over the years with several of their albums reaching number one and number two on the UK Albums Chart.
