Yoel Romero Bio
Yoel Romero was born Yoel Romero Palacio in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba on April 30, 1977. As of February 11, 2019, he is the No. 2 Current Best MMA Middleweight Fighter. He was the No. 14 MMA Fighter of the Year 2014 and in 2015 he was ranked No. 18. He is also the No. 13 Current Best Pound for Pound MMA Fighter. He is known by the nickname Soldier of God and he is affiliated with the American Top Team. His last fight was on June 2018 where he faced Robert Whittaker and lost the UFC 225 match by split decision. He made his UFC debut on May 2013 on UFC on FOX 7 where he fought Clifford Starks and won by flying knee and punches. He competed in the 2000 and the 2004 Summer Olympics.
