Yunus Musah Bio
Yunus Dimoara Musah is a professional soccer player born on November 29, 2002, in New York City, New York, USA. He spent his youth career at Giorgione and Arsenal. Yunus joined the VCF Academy in 2019, playing for VCF Juvenil A and VCF Mestalla.
In 2020, he debuted for the first team and has scored twice in 76 appearances. Yunus surpassed Kasey Keller as the USMNT player with the most games played in La Liga in February 2022, with 52 appearances. He scored his first La Liga goal in a 2-2 draw against Getafe in November 2020.
Before playing for the US Men's National Team (USMNT), Yunus played for England's U15, U16, U17, and U18. In June 2022, he set a new record for most minutes played by a USMNT teenager (1,413) during the 1-1 draw at El Salvador in the CONCACAF Nations League. The midfielder won the 2019/20 CONCACAF Nations League with the USMNT. He won the 2022 US Soccer Young Male Athlete of the Year.
