Yuri Katherine Vargas Agudelo, widely known as Yuri Vargas, is an actress, model, and businesswoman born on July 23, 1988, in Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia. Her first telenovela role was in the 2005's La saga, negocio de familia. In 2008, she starred as Marisol in the TV series Without Breasts There Is No Paradise.
Yuri portrayed Jennifer Ramírez in Conniving Renata and Nancy Restrepo Caicedo in Amor sincero. She appeared alongside Carolina Gaitan on the telenovela Las hermanitas Calle. Yuri has appeared on Noches con Platanito. She starred in El Estilista, Las Santísimas, and Inversiones el ABC.
Her portrayal of Yurani Bueno Restrepo in Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas the TVyNovelas Award for Favorite TV Villain. Yuri received two nominations at the 2016 TVyNovelas Awards for her role in the telenovela Las hermanitas Calle. She won Mejor Actor at the 2019 Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre for portraying Uma in Luz: The Flower of Evil.
