Zachary Levi is an American actor and singer born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on September 29, 1980. He is best known for his role as Chuck Bartowski in the NBC television series Chuck. He started acting at the age of six performing in regional stage productions of Grease, Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz, Grease, The Outsiders, Oklahoma, and Big River. In 2001 he made his debut on television in the show Untitled Sisqo Project and continued landing roles in shows like Less than Perfect, The Division, Chuck, Heroes Reborn, Telenovela, Alias Grace, and others. He made his debut in film in 2006 in the movie Big Momma’s House 2 and has since been in the films Wieners, Shades of Ray, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Shazam! and more. He has also done voice acting in shows, films and video games like Tangled, Tangled Ever After, The Star, Fallout: New Vegas, Tomb Raider, Kingdom Hearts III among others. He has acted professionally in several stage productions, including First Date, She Loves Me, and Sunday in the Park with George. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a Theatre World Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Teen Choice Award and more.
