Zak Abel Bio

Zak Abel, born Zak Zilesnick on March 1st, 1995 in London, England is an English singer and songwriter. Originally setting his sights on becoming a professional tennis player he moved to France to follow his dream, but quickly got bored of tennis’ repetitive nature. He developed a love for music at a young age when he started to play the piano. In 2012 he began to upload videos of himself singing online. He was discovered by Atlantic Records and signed to a record deal. His first musical appearance was on Gorgon City’s 2014 single “Unmissible.” The single reached the top 20 on the UK charts. He then linked up with the producer named Joker and released his first EP in 2015 entitled Joker presents Zak Abel. In the same year he released a follow up EP called One Hand in the Future. In 2017 he released his debut album called Only When We’re Naked which debuted at number 100 on the Official UK Album Chart.
