Zero 7 Bio

Zero 7 is an acid jazz/ trip hop group originally from London, England. The band started in 1997 and it is composed of Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns. When they started their musical journey, they worked making remixes like Terry Callier’s “Love Theme from Spartacus” and Radiohead’s “Climbing Up the Walls”. In 1999, they released their debut EP featuring exclusively their own tracks, soon followed by a second one the next year. In 2001, they came out with their first studio album called “Simple Things” which was well received by the critics, besides getting nominated for a Mercury Prize and for Best British Newcomer at the Birt Awards. The group has collaborated with great artists such as Sophie Barker, Tina Dico or Martha Tilston. Until 2020, they had released 4 studio albums and more than 6 remixes albums.
