Zoi Sadowski-Synnott is a professional snowboarder born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on March 6, 2001. She participates in slopestyle and big air events. The Mount Aspiring College alum won a silver medal at the 2017 FIS Snowboard World Championships. Zoi won a bronze medal at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics for big air.
In 2019, Zoi won a slopestyle gold medal at the World Championships in Utah. Likewise, she won a slopestyle gold medal and a big air silver medal at the Winter X Games in Aspen. She was the 2021 FIS Snowboard Slopestyle World Champion, the 2021 X Games Aspen Slopestyle Silver Medallist and Big Air Bronze Medallist, and the 2021 Dew Tour Slopestyle winner.
Zoi became the first New Zealand woman to win a Winter Olympic gold medal after winning one at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics in women's slopestyle snowboarding. She won a silver medal at the big air event. Her accolades include Snow Sports NZ Overall Athlete of the Year(2017 and 2019) and Snow Sports NZ Snowboarder of the Year (2017, 2018, and 2019).
