Zookëper Bio
Zookëper is the stage name of Michael Doerr, an American DJ and record music producer from New Jersey. He started his musical career during the late 2000s as a touring guitarist for Cash Cash. He eventually started composing and producing electronic music and he soon became an in-demand remixer, working on singles by Jason Derulo, Cher and Smallpools among others. In 2015, Doerr released his own original tracks with singles like “Move Ya Feet” and “Gunz”, and soon gained a solid fan base. He embarked on a North American tour, sharing stages with artists such as Bingo Players and Tritonal. In 2018, he released a remix of John Mayer’s hit “New Light” which earned him further recognition. He also released the single “For Real” alongside Goshfather.
