Adelmo Fornaciari is a musician born on 25 September 1955 in Roncocesi, Italy. He is known for playing Folk and Pop/Rock music. He goes by the alias Zucchero and has been singing since the 1970s. His style mainly consists of Blues-Rock, Adult Contemporary, and Political Folk. Zucchero’s debut album labeled by Polydor/Universal Distribution, titled Zucchero & The Randy Jackson Band was released in 1985. Since his debut album, he has released 29 more albums. Zucchero’s album Zu & Co. peaked on the Billboard 200 on 6 August 2005, and was on the chart for 7 weeks. Throughout his career, Zucchero collaborated with many famous musicians. He appeared with Luciano Pavarotti, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton and the Scorpions at the Woodstock Festival in 1994. Zucchero sang duets with Sheryl Crow, Eric Clapton, and Macy Gray in 2005.
