Zulay Henao is an actress who was born on May 29, 1979, in Medellín, Colombia. When she was only four years old, she moved to New Jersey. She served three years in the U.S Army and then she decided to study in the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She made her television debut in 2007 in an episode of “Army Wives” and later that same year she appeared on an episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and also starred her first movie “Feel the Noise” with Omarion, Victor Rasuk, Giancarlo Esposito and James McCaffrey. Her career kept climbing and she starred in various films such as “Fighting” and “S. Drako” in 2009 and “Boy Wonder” and “Hostel: Part III” in 2011. She became part of the cast of “Love Thy Neighbor” in 2013 as a series regular. She achieved the peak of her career in 2014 when she was casted to play Esperanza in “If Loving You Is Wrong”, a soap opera starring Amanda Clayton, Heather Hemmens, Edwina Findley and April Parker Jones. That same year she took part in “The Single Moms Club”.
