Kirk Morrison is a former football player born on February 19, 1982, in Oakland, California, USA. He is best known for his impressive career as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). His journey began at O'Dowd High School in Oakland, where he led the team to two Northern California Section 3A championships.
Kirk played college football at San Diego State University, becoming one of the most decorated football players in school history since Marshall Faulk. He was a two-time All-American. He was a three-time First-team All-MWC (2002–2004) and a two-time MWC Defensive Player of the Year (2003, 2004).
The Oakland Raiders selected him as the 78th overall pick in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Kirk played for Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills. He has transitioned into a sports analyst and commentator, appearing on ESPN and ABC's college football coverage. He has also appeared on Sirius NFL Radio, The Athletic, Bay Area, and various sports talk radio shows.
