The Ramona Flowers is a Bristol-based band known for their alternative rock sound with electronic elements. The original band members included guitarist Sam James, bassist Wayne Jones, keyboardist/guitarist Dave Betts, drummer Ed Gallimore, and vocalist Steve Bird. They took the name Ramona Flowers from the lead girl with the supercharged, seven evil exes in the movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World. The lead singer Steve Bird has often been compared to Bono and Thom Yorke. The band released their first EP, Dismantle, in 2012 on indie Distiller Records. In 2013, the EP titled Lust and Lies came out, followed by their full-length debut Dismantle and Rebuild in 2014. In 2016, the Ramona Flowers released Part Time Spies, produced by Chris Zane and recorded at Distillery Studios in Bath.
