Self Esteem Bio
Rebecca Lucy Taylor (who’s popularly known by her online moniker Self Esteem) is a British singer and musician who was born and raised in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. She picked up songwriting abilities while at Slow Club.
She formed the duo group Slow Club with her friend Charles Watson and they released their 2016 album One Day All of This Won’t Matter Anymore. Rebecca’s debut single as Self Esteem Your Wife appeared in 2016 which was followed by Rebecca touring for two years, preparing the ground for her debut album. The album Compliments Please appeared in 2019 and was produced by Dave Mclean. She released another album Prioritise Pleasure in 2021. Some of her popular singles include 2018’s Rollout, 2021’s I do this all the time, Prioritise Pleasure, and You Forever.
