Jason Carlos da Cruz Fernandes (who’s popularly known as Xamã or MC Xamã) is a Brazilian rapper and singer-songwriter who was born on October 30th 1989 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was born and raised in Brazil.
Xamã was popular as a member of the groups 1Kilo, Cartel MCs and Brutang44. He released his debut album Pecado Capital on May 24th 2018 and followed up with one album per year: O iluminado appeared in 2019 and Zodiaco followed in 2020. Some of his well known singles are Gato siames (2021, feat. Ludmilla), Poesia acústica 11: Nada mudou (2021, feat. Azzy, MC Ryan SP, Chris MC, Lourena, L7nnon, Cynthia Luz & MC Poze do Rodo), and Malvadao 3 (2021).
