Chiquinquirá Delgado, also known as Chiqui, is an actress and presenter born on August 7, 1972, in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She began her career when she participated in the Miss Venezuela pageant in 1990 and became the first runner-up. This led to her becoming a model walking the runway and a host for shows like TV Time and ¡Despierta América! Delgado would soon transition into acting, with her first credited role being Margarita Luisa Volcán in the telenovela Calypso. While continuing her hosting career, Delgado would act in soap operas like Cosita rica and Mambo y canela. After becoming a household name in her native Venezuela, Delgado set her eyes on the United States. In 2010, she became the host for Univision’s Mira Quién Baila. She has worked as a red carpet interviewer at the Latin Grammys and was invited to work on Entertainment Tonight (1981) to interview celebrities like Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, and Sofía Vergara.
