William John Horschel, popularly known as Billy Horschel, is a highly accomplished American professional golfer renowned for his performances on the PGA Tour. He was born in Grant, Florida, United States, on December 7, 1986.
Horschel's journey to success began during his time at the University of Florida in Gainesville. As a standout player for the university, Horschel earned numerous accolades, including four-time All-American recognition, with three first-team honors. His remarkable skills on the golf course led to him being named the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Player of the Year in both 2007 and 2009.
After turning professional in 2009, Horschel wasted no time making his mark in the golfing world.
