Tamala Jones, whose full birth name is Tamala Reneé Jones, is an American actress who was born on November 12, 1974, in Pasadena, California. She made her acting debut in 1992 when she appeared on an episode of the TV series “California Dreams”. Her first important roles were in the TV series “Dangerous Minds” in 1996, “Veronica's Closet” in 1997 and “For Your Love” in 1998. However, she jumped to fame in 2009 when she was casted to be part of the main cast of the TV series “Castle”, where she shared screen with Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, Susan Sullivan and Jon Huertas until the show ended in 2016. Besides TV she also has participated in several movies, including “Head of State” in 2003, “Megachurch Murder” in 2015 and “What Men Want” in 2019.
