John R. Miller is a musical artist born in 1986 in Hedgesville, West Virginia, United States. He rose to fame as a skilled instrumentalist and songwriter. He started his career by backing other musicians before finding his foot in the music industry. He made his debut as a solo artist in 2018 with the album “The Trouble You Follow”. During his early career, he worked with singers and songwriters like Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, and John Prine.
Miller has also gone on tour with different bands, including Prison Book Club and the Fox Hunt. In 2017, he relocated to West Virginia to make a fresh start. He would later start performing his own songs with the band Engine Lights. In 2018, they released their debut album, “The Trouble You Follow” under Emperor Records. The album was critically acclaimed.
