Spin Doctors is an American rock band formed in New York City, New York in 1988. The current members of the band are Chris Barron on lead vocals, Eric Schenkman on guitar and backing vocals, Mark White on bass guitar, and Aaron Comess on keyboards and drums. The band was initially formed under the name Trucking Company. In 1989 they started going by the name Spin Doctors. They were signed with the label Epic Records/Sony Music in 1991 and released their debut studio album titled Pocket Full of Kryptonite. The album was certified 5x platinum in the United States and 4x platinum in Canada. They have since released the albums Turn It Upside Down, You’ve Got to Believe in Something, Here Comes the Bride, Nice Talking to Me, and If the River Was Whiskey. They have also released four compilation albums and four live albums. In 1994 they were nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and an American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Album.
