sleepmakeswaves Bio
Sleepmakeswaves is a rock band from Sydney, Australia. The band was formed in 2006, and its members include Otto Wicks-Green (guitar), Alex Wilson (bass and keyboard), and Tim Adderley (drums). The band is widely recognized for its energetic live performances and contemporary approach to post-rock. They released their debut EP, “In Today, Already Walks Tomorrow,” in 2008. The EP was highly acclaimed, and this played a crucial role in the popularity of the band.
They released their debut album, titled “…..And so we destroyed everything” in 2011, followed by the second album, “Love of Cartography,” in 2014. In 2017, they released their third album, titled “Made of Breath Only,” under Bird’s Robe Records. Their latest album, “These Are Not Your Dreams”, was released in August 2020. The band has seen several lineup changes over the years, with Alex Wilson being the only consistent member.
