Incognito is a jazz band from the United Kingdom who published their debut album, Jazz Funk in 1981.
As a spin-off from Light of the World, Incognito was created in 1979 by Paul "Tubbs" Williams and Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick. Light of the World was a large band, and after several lineup changes, the founding members Breeze Mckrieth, Kenny Wellington, and David Baptiste created Beggar & Co., inspired by American funk bands like Funkadelic producing spinoff bands like Parliament.
Incognito was formed by Bluey and Tubbs. However, numerous former members of Light of the World have reconnected with the band over the years, despite their other responsibilities.
