Artist Hollie Cook, born in 1987 in London, comes from a musical family. The daughter of Sex Pistols drummer, and backing singer for Culture Club, is also the goddaughter of Boy George. Cook joined the re-formed Slits and performed on Revenge of the Killer Slits. Hollie released her self-titled debut album, and has collaborated with Ian Brown, Jamie T, George Dekker and Dennis Bovell. Cook recorded a radio session for BBC, appeared on Later… with Jools Holland, and opened for The Stone Roses’ reunion show. She released a dub remix version of her debut album, and her second album, Twice. Hollie went on to release her third album, Vessel of Love, with features from Alex Paterson, Martin ‘Youth’ Glover, Gaudi, and Jah Wobble.
