Korede Bello Bio
Korede Bello is a Nigerian guitarist, singer, songwriter, and composer currently signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. He began performing at age seven, entering numerous talent shows and performing at local venues. His first single, “African Princess,” was released shortly after signing with Mavin Records, and followed quickly by “Cold Outside.” Both singles were overnight hits. Bello’s cult following is collectively referred to as “Bellovers,” and many have named him Africa’s Justin Bieber.
Bello has one eleven total awards. Four of these were received at the 2012 Top Naija Awards, including: ‘Afro Pop Artist of The Year,’ ‘Most Promising Artist,’ ‘Best Song With A Message,’ and ‘Best Use of Social Media.’ Hit songs include “Do Like That,” “Mungo Park,” “Romantic,” and “Godwin.”
