Ganesh Bio
Ganesh is an actor, producer, director, and TV presenter born in Adakamaranahalli, Karnataka, India, on July 2, 1980. He appeared in the popular Kannada TV show Comedy Time on Udaya TV. His breakout role was as Preetham in the 2006 Kannada movie Mungaru Male. In 2007, Ganesh appeared as Maadesha in Cheluvina Chittara and Balu Mahendar in Hudugaata.
His role in the 2008 movie Gaalipata won him Best Actor at the 2009 Filmfare Award - Kannada Film Industry. In 2011, he portrayed Manu Murthy in Munjan, Suraj in Maduve Mane, and Rahul in Kool. He received a nomination for Favorite Hero at the 2012 Suvarna Film Awards for his role in Shyloo.
His portrayal of Pulakeshi in the 2017 movie Mugulu Nage received nominations at the 2018 Filmfare Award - Kannada Film Industry and the 2017 TSR-TV9 National Film Awards Kannada. Ganesh received a nomination for SIIMA - Kannada Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 2022 South Indian International Movie Awards for portraying Balu in Sakath.
