Stylo G Bio
Stylo G, born Jason McDermott, is an urban dancehall reggae artist currently based out of the UK. He was born in Jamaica to the legendary dancehall reggae artist, Poison Chang. Falling in love with music early on in life, Stylo G began releasing a multitude of moderately successful singles early on. Around 2007-2008, he began his rise to populatiry.
In 2008, McDermott won the Crystal Blue Award for ‘Song of The Year.’ The single which won him the award was “Jamaicans In Britain.” In 2014, he won ‘Best Reggae Act’ at both the Mobo Awards and the UMAs. Currently, McDermott is working on his debut album. Upon release, the up-and-coming artist is already set to begin touring both Europe and Japan, with other potential international dates possible.
