Deborah Norville Bio
Deborah Norville is an American television journalist, born on August 8, 1958, in Dalton, Georgia. She rose to fame as an anchor on Inside Edition. Deborah joined Inside Edition in 1995 from CBS News, where she was an anchor and correspondent. She began her career at WAGA –TV in Atlanta and has previously worked in NBC’s News at Sunrise and Today, succeeding Jane Pauley. Deborah was replaced by Katie Couric. She graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia. The Georgia native is a two-time Emmy Award winner and the longest-serving anchor on American television and an inductee into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame. She is also a best-selling author and lecturer and has hosted the primetime Deborah Norville Tonight on MSNBC and the national Deborah Norville Show on the ABC Talk Radio Network.
