Pierre Niney Bio
Pierre Niney is a French actor who was born on March 13th 1989 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France. His acting career began when he was just eleven. In 2010 he joined the Comédie-Française troupe in October making him the youngest resident of the troupe.
His most prominent TV appearances include LOL (Laughing Out Loud) (2008), L'armée du crime (2009), Les Émotifs anonymes (2010). Pierre was the youngest actor to win the Patrick Dewaere prize as Cesar in the eponymous film directed by Jalil Lespert. He later starred in Un homme idéal in 2015 and in 2016 took the lead role in Frantz and Philippe Cousteau in L'Odyssée, a movie based on the life of French Commander Jacques Cousteau.
His awards include 2015 César Awards-Best Actor: Winner and nominations for 2017’s César Awards-Best Actor, 2015’s Prix Lumières-Best Actor and 2013’s César Awards-Most Promising Actor.
