Jon Hurwitz Bio
Screenwriter, director, and producer Jon Hurwitz was born Jonathan Benjamin Hurwitz in New Jersey, United States on November 15, 1977. He received his undergraduate education in business at the illustrious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor's degree. Prior to beginning his collaboration on film projects with Josh and Hayden Schlossberg, he had the intention of pursuing a career in investment banking. However, after meeting Josh, he decided to modify that plan. His role as a screenwriter for the infamous movie, Harold & Kumar, catapulted him to fame. He is well-known in the film industry for his work in films such as Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004), American Reunion (2012), and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008). All three films were released between 2004 and 2012, making it a prosperous time for his career.
