Nikola Jokic Bio
Nikola Jokic was born on February 19, 1995 in Serbia. His professional career started when he signed with the Serbian Basketball League. He was awarded the 2015 Adriatic League MVP and the 2015 ABA League Top Prospect. Nikola was picked by the Denver Nuggets in the 2014 NBA draft. He was the 41st overall pick for the draft. At the end of the 2016 season, Nikola earned the NBA All-Rookie First Team honors. He participated in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro summer Olympics while playing for Serbia and his team won the silver medal after losing to the United States. He has also played for Serbia in the 2016 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Nikola came in second place in the 2017 NBA Most Improved Player Award contest.
